La Mott originally established as a Civil War training site for Colored volunteers and named in honor of Abolitionist Lucretia Mott, has as part of the fabric of Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania participated in and had a monumental impact on American history. This Web site examines and explores many of the historic trails and routes that have emanated from this area that has been filled with the true dreams and realities of democracy as understood by all the citizens of this country.
