Description
Dear Friends and Colleagues, Thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to learn about Change Round-Up. Our mission is simple. We allow nonprofit organizations to place a "virtual spare change" jar on the “counters” of online retailers. This enables nonprofits to increase their exposure at an extremely low cost, with minimal effort." When I first started exploring the charitable giving environment, I was appalled at the excessive costs associated with raising funds. I figured that there had to be a more efficient method for nonprofit groups to solicit donations. One of the main reasons that people don’t donate is not lack of caring. Most people don’t donate more often because they can’t afford to make a large gift or they are so busy they don’t have the time to make the contribution. The Change Round-Up model was developed out of the need to reduce the monetary and time costs associated with donating. By asking people to donate at the point of purchase, we can aggregate millions of small donations to generate some real change! Change Round-Up is a cause-marketing consultant to online retailers. Our low overhead, coupled with database automation and efficiencies of scale have enabled us to implement a system that allows nonprofit groups to solicit funds at a low cost, thereby enabling non-profit organizations to keep 90% or more of generated donations. Change Round-Up brings philanthropy to the masses. By making it easy to donate spare change, we are harnessing the good in many. Please help us by joining the network, asking your favorite sites to join up or by donating when you see our logo. Even telling your friends about the service and spreading the word can be of great benefit. Thank you again for your interest and support. It is my sincere hope that Change Round-Up can work with your organization to help drive the round-up movement. Please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
