Description
The fire district has a Dive team, is part of the Orange CART Team (Combined Area Response Team), and has Fire Investigators that work with MABAS 15. We are members of MABAS Division 15 and Chief Shabbona Firefighter's Association. The Channahon Fire Protection District averages over 940 calls per year. The calls consist of Emergency Medical calls, Fire calls, Mutual Aid calls, Hazmat calls, and Dive calls. There are wide variety of calls the firefighters and paramedics need to be ready for at all times.
