Charmaine Donnay Nilles works hard to give you an experience that she would want herself: comfortable, relaxed, efficient and enjoyable. She believes that good interior design is not only beautiful, it enhances how you live and work. She begins by getting to know you, how you use a room, what colors you like and what you're looking for. Then she walks you through the design process step-by-step, paying special attention to the details. For many people, it's difficult to imagine what a room would look like with a new window treatment or paint design, so she uses computer programs to give you a sense of what you might want prior to installation, saving you time and money. Charmaine has been an interior design professional for almost 20 years. In addition to a degree in education with a minor in art, and two years of design and architecture, she is also a Window Fashions Certified Professional (a comprehensive continuing education and accreditation program for industry professionals). Her work has been published in Chicago Home Book and the Daily Herald, and Chardonnay Designs has won the Excellence in Design Award in 2003.
