Chart Tech, Inc. was founded in 1981 by its present CEO, Michael C. Hendershot. The company designs and provides revenue enhancement & recovery services to the healthcare industry. In response to perceived needs in the managed care industry for advanced software solutions, the company began R&D in 1998 on that which is now the VISIUM suite of software solutions. VISIUM is currently comprised of modules for claims Pricing, Contract Compliance (Revenue Enhancement) and Contract Simulation & Modeling. We continually seek to design technologically advanced products that escape the "me too" mentality that is often the norm. This purposeful approach has lead to products and services that are designed to be highly flexible, a critical capability in the highly complex environment of managed care. In turn, this flexibility allows us to respond to the unique needs and requirements of each distinct organization.
