Located in West Warwick, Rhode Island, Chase Machine & Engineering is the world’s largest manufacturer of custom web handling equipment. Founded in 1954 as a manufacturer of equipment for the textile industry, Chase Machine & Engineering has expanded its capabilities today to include complete machine and manufacturing system design. Chase serves a wide range of customers in the medical, nonwoven, converting, geotextile, extrusion, filtration and packaging industries.

Our experience with “insourcing” began in part with a Chinese company that had been buying their machines from a manufacturer in Germany. But like many in this industry, they couldn’t get quality service and support for their machines. Once they realized they could rely on Chase not only for quality machines, but also quality service and support, Chase became their machine manufacturer of choice.

At Chase, our top priority is to manufacture quality equipment while providing excellent customer service and design - all at a fair price with on-time delivery.
