In or around 1993 the Checkpointcharlies' website was added to River Bend Sports in order to expand collector sales. River Bend Sports had been a retail sporting goods business that also sold a lot of collector type firearms and accessories on line and through collector publications and this was a natural expansion for the business. In April of this year I sold River Bend Sports and expanded my 'Checkpoitcharlies' on line collector website/business.
