The firm was established in Los Angeles in 1972 as the first CPA firm founded by Chinese immigrants in the United States. Since its establishment, the firm has undergone several reorganizations. After naming the firm Chen & Fan Accountancy Corporation in 1992 in view of expanding its service areas and increasing its partnership and professional staff, it opened its first branch office in the San Jose/Fremont area in Northern California. In 1997, it also established a second branch office in San Diego, a southern California city near the Mexican border.

We serve clients across the United States from several offices located throughout California. Ms. Li serves as a partner in both review and audit engagements. Her experience includes an audit manager position at a Big-Four accounting firm in Taiwan, where she amassed extensive experience in audits of multinational and publicly listed companies. Ms. Li is a certified public accountant in the States of California and Texas. She received her MS degree in accounting from University of Houston, Texas.

Tax planning and tax return preparation are provided to clients with international and domestic operations. International tax planning is performed by tax professionals of Chen & Fan for multinational corporations in various countries. State of the art tax software is utilized to prepare tax returns for consolidated corporations, closely held corporations, personal service corporations, C corporations, S corporations, limited liability companies, general partnerships, limited partnerships and individuals in different geographic areas.
