Description

As chiropractic enjoys greater acceptance in the community, many health plans include coverage for our care. Our office staff will work with you and your insurance company to ensure that your care in our office is affordable and convenient. Some health plans require a referral from your primary care physician. If you are unsure whether or not you require a referral, please feel free to contact our office. We will be more than happy to contact your insurance company on your behalf.

Chiropractic is a natural, noninvasive therapy that is safe at any age. At Chester Chiropractic, we provide chiropractic care for a wide variety of conditions, including lower back and pelvic region pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms and legs, headaches, and decreased ranges of motion. We also provide treatment for federal and New York State work-related injuries (workers' compensation), motor vehicle accidents (auto no-fault), and slip-and-fall accidents (personal injury), as well as supportive care for your overall well-being. Dr. Littlejohn and his staff will instruct you in ways to not only relieve your symptoms but also to correct the underlying problem.

At Chester Chiropractic, we take pride in providing contemporary, quality chiropractic care. We offer exceptional service in a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. Our staff is highly knowledgeable and experienced in working with most Commercial Insurance Plans, Medicare, Workers' Compensation, and Motor Vehicle No-Fault Insurance.

Once Dr. Littlejohn has identified the problem, he will recommend a course of treatment. Care typically consists of chiropractic manipulative therapy, also known as "adjustments." The adjustment is given by hand and consists of applying pressure to the areas of the spine that are out of alignment (also known as subluxations) or that do not move properly within their normal range of motion. Your treatment may also be supplemented by adjunctive modalities (i.e. ultrasound therapy, electric muscle stimulation), therapeutic stretches, and therapeutic exercises. Additionally, Dr. Littlejohn may suggest ways to modify your daily activities to prevent further injury.
