The Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC) is a full-service, regional economic development entity that has provided “smart growth” business services to companies in Chester County and the proximate region for over 50 years. It is a private, non-profit, non-governmental corporation comprised of several affiliates and employing over 40 economic development specialists.

For the 15 th consecutive year, CCEDC’s Certified Development Company, the South Eastern Economic Development Company of Pennsylvania (Seedcopa), was the largest Certified Development Company in Pennsylvania. For the first time in history, Seedcopa’s annual SBA loan volume exceeded $50 million, including $36 million through our flagship product, SBA 504.

The CCEDC supports this industry through the efforts of the Chester County Health Care Partnership . For over 14 years, the Health Care Partnership has been a model of collaboration and success.

For over 50 years, CCEDC has been a model for full-service economic development featuring private and public partnerships, and ably guided by volunteer, private business sector board members who bring their talents, skills and commitment to developing a healthy and competitive business community. CCEDC is known throughout the Commonwealth for implementing successful practices of job creation, generation of commercial tax ratables, business retention and enhancement, agricultural economic development, workforce development, and various other exemplary strategies.

The CCEDC is a private, non-profit, economic development organization promoting smart growth in Chester County and the surrounding region for over 50 years.
