The paramedics and firefighters of the Monarch Fire Protection District are dedicated to providing the highest level of emergency services the citizens and patrons of the District have come to expect and experience. All first response units are equipped with advanced life support personnel and supplies to provide the fastest emergency medical care when seconds count. Our firefighters are among the best trained in the metropolitan area. Many have trained on special rescue operations such as collapse rescue, trench rescue, hazardous materials, swift water and confined space rescue.

The Monarch Fire Protection District is a team of highly trained Emergency Service Professionals dedicated to protecting the lives and property of our citizens, businesses and visitors of our community. We are committed to supporting our community and its organizations with sound fire prevention and public education opportunities. The Monarch Fire Protection District encompasses 62.7 square miles of St. Louis County that includes both single and multi-family homes and apartments, light and heavy industry, Chesterfield Mall, St. Luke’s Hospital, and Chesterfield Valley. Our five engine houses provide you with state-of-the-art fire suppression, rescue, and paramedic first-response on all fire apparatus as well as advanced life support (paramedic) ambulance transport services. The men and women of the Monarch Fire Protection District are proud of the service we provide to our residents and the St. Louis metropolitan area.

2257 – is a 2009 International 4300DT with a Fontaine extended cab chassis. 2257 has a custom MEDTEC Ambulance conversion patient care area, which is equipped with state of the art diagnostic equipment and a complete prehospital pharmacy. This equips our paramedic crews with the capability to provide first class pre-hospital emergency care. Every Monarch Fire Protection District ambulance is defined as LRSV (Life Support Rescue Vehicle). The nomenclature indicates that our on-duty staff is trained and equipped to provide lifesaving patient care and lifesaving rescues making Monarch FPD a full emergency service Fire District.

Dave Graybill was a professional baseball player for several years and then became a firefighter. He has a vision to demonstrate the love men have for their mothers, wives, daughters and all women in their lives. His vision has resulted in funding for cancer research and other medical issues affecting women. Pink Heals was founded in 2007, is a nationally recognized organization, which seeks to raise awareness of issues affecting women’s health and also serves as a fundraising entity for a number of recognized women’s health charities.
