Life challenges each of us at times. At Chestnut Health Systems, we strive to equip people with the tools they need to meet challenges and improve their quality of life. In 1973, a group of concerned citizens worked out of an old Victorian house on Chestnut Street in Bloomington, Ill., creating a program known as Lighthouse. From that simple beginning, a visionary group of diverse and creative staff helped mold Lighthouse into what is now a highly-regarded, sophisticated organization known as Chestnut Health Systems. We offer a comprehensive scope of behavioral health and human services in Illinois. Our professional and experienced staff is committed to providing high quality care and services to the communities we serve, and is focused on our mission to make a difference and improve quality of life through excellence in service.
