Chicago Disability Transit provides a critically needed service to the disability, health care, senior and business communities. Founded by people with disabilities, Chicago Disability Transit is dedicated to providing specialized transportation services.

Her desire to provide to the highest quality service is based on her own experience raising her son Timothy, who had multiple disabilities. Karen and her husband navigated the labyrinth of doctors. therapists, hospitals and schools, searching out any and all resources to insure his quality of life. Thanks to Karen and her family, Timothy was able to enjoy his life to the fullest.

Founded in 1969, this center seeks to improve services for all children with disabilities. It is one of 100 federally-funded Parent Centers in the US and provides training and assistance as well as serving as a resource and referral center.

With more than 30 years of customer service experience in a corporate environment, Karen Zaur joined Chicago Disability Transit with a passion for meeting her client’s needs.
