If a patient suffers from severe surgical complications, surgical intervention may be required. The surgeons at Suburban Surgical Care Specialists/Kane Center all possess advanced training and extensive experience in bariatric surgery. As a result, many of our practice’s revisional bariatric surgery patients are referred to us by other health care professionals.

Throughout the surgical process, our primary goal is to address each individual’s medical and emotional needs and concerns in a thoughtful, compassionate manner. Prior to his retirement, founder and senior member Dr. James M. Kane had been in practice in the northwest suburbs community for over 35 years. Since then, his son, Dr. James M. Kane, Jr., along with physicians Dr. Peter C. Rantis, Jr., Dr. Paul J. Guske and Dr. Jonathan W. Wallace, has continued to honor his commitment to performing surgeries that conform to the highest standards of safety and precision.
