Chicago Mold Engineering Co. Inc. designs, engineers and manufactures plastic injection and compression molds for the Thermoset and Thermoplastic industries. We also provide numerous repair and rebuild services to customers in these same industries. Additionally, we provide specialized machining and gundrilling services. Chicago Mold Engineering's 40,000 square foot facility houses an engineering design area, a state-of-the-art production plant, office space and conference areas. Our capabilities range from large, single cavity molds, to small and complex, multi-cavity molds.

Their knowledge and experience in the industry is incomparable in today’s work force. Our specialty machinists are well-qualified to operate the high-tech machinery that speed our production process. Final finishing is provided by our on-site polishing staff. Chicago Mold Engineering has truly melded traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology in its mold building process.

Utilizing the latest in solid modeling CAD software, Chicago Mold Engineering is able to provide accurate designs faster than ever before, ensuring shorter lead times for production. With more than 150 years combined experience, our Engineering Department is known for providing customers with top quality mold designs and production models. Innovative design solutions to molding issues serve to keep us at the forefront of mold design and engineering, to the continued benefit of our customers.

We provide services in 2D, 3D, & full 5-Axis machining along with complete gundrilling services. Diameters up to 2.0 inches can be drilled to a maximum depth of 84 inches. The gundrill can accommodate block sizes up to 15,000 lbs.
