We will act as an invaluable resource and information center for tourists, convention planners, record labels and producers. In addition, the Office will act as a liaison between live performance venues and City agencies in matters of code and license compliance. The Chicago Music Commission will oversee the Music Office and act as a networking mechanism for the Chicago music industry and also generate an economic study of the economic impact of music on Chicago.
