We know that children come in all sizes, from tiny newborns to young adults, and our pediatric professionals plan their care to meet their special needs.Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters is licensed for 186 beds. We provide the full range of inpatient care, treatments and surgeries for children facing both common and complex illnesses and injuries. We house the region's largest and most experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, a comprehensive Rehabilitation Unit and short-stay areas for routine treatments and observation.Some children need continuing care and other services without hospitalization, so our ambulatory service provides an array of diagnostic and therapeutic services along with dozens of specialty clinics, including physical and occupational therapy and medical care for allergies, heart problems and cancer.
