ITW Philadelphia Resins was organized in 1959 as a manufacturing and service company, developing epoxy-resin products. One product, the poured-in-place epoxy resin chock provided the "foundation" for what has become the Chockfast Foundation System. Chockfast developed from its simple beginnings to become a diversified line of products by ITW Philadelphia Resins for use wherever critically-aligned reciprocating machinery; heavy-duty rotating equipment or other equipment subject to high dynamics are installed. Chockfast is also used in applications subject to deterioration from chemical environments.
