Founded in 1969, Cibar has a broad range of experience in developing software applications for international banking customers, including Letters of Credit, Collections, Foreign Loans, Wholesale Demand Deposit Accounting, Cash Letters, Wire Transfers, Imaging, OFAC checking, and Banker's Acceptances.

Cibar has more than 40 years of experience in working with financial service organizations in the areas of design, consulting, and development of application software. With an average employee tenure of 15 years Cibar has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of banking and technology; and is the de-facto leader in trade finance automation with over 500 man-years of experience.

Cibar is celebrating our 45th year in business. Founded in 1969 by current CEO Loren Shannon, Cibar still values the principles that Loren instilled in building Cibar into a successful company over 40 years ago. GTSnet is Cibar's back-office, three-tier, client-server trade finance system, which can scale from a small regional bank to a global trade bank. It is the culmination of 35 years of experience in designing and developing trade finance automation software.
