In the last few years we have seen an alarming trend in the recreational flooring industry. We have seen more and more doing gymnasium floor work that don’t have the necessary experience to meet the critical schedules in our industry, nor the experience to provide a quality product to the owner. We have torn out and replaced more subpar level floor systems in the last three (3) years than we have in the previous fifteen (15). There are many more of these floor systems that have not been torn out and replaced. When someone builds a gymnasium and has an inferior gym floor installed, many times due to scheduling or any number of other items, they choose to live with a sub-standard product rather than face all of the obstacles necessary to get the gym floor that they specified and/or purchased.
