The Central Illinois Neuroscience Foundation (CINF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of neurological healthcare through education and research. Founded by local neurohealthcare physicians and scientists, the Foundation was established in 1996 for the purposes of furthering and enhancing the education of physicians, nurses, technicians, and allied health care professionals in the various neurohealth sciences. CINF also promotes, supports and encourages research in the Neurosciences, fortifying a promising future in the maintenance of state-of-the-art quality neurological health care. Furthermore, the foundation wishes to support and compliment local and state organizations based on disease specific identities. Cooperation and funding and unifying educational efforts with an emphasis on public awareness will continue to remain a major goal of CINF. Education of the community to achieve broad-based public awareness of neurological diseases and their associated symptoms, risk factors, and treatment is another major purpose of the Foundation.
