On April 25 th , the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit) Board of Directors unanimously approved the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project’s Final Environmental Impact Report. With construction expected to begin in 2014, the system could be fully operational in 2016. Circlepoint has been providing community engagement since the early stages of the environmental phase, delivering key messages and ensuring that all stakeholders are involved and heard throughout the process.

In May, we celebrated a historic milestone for the Presidio Parkway project with the closure of the old Doyle Drive. The new temporary bypass for the roadway makes room for the second half of the replacement project to be built. And most importantly, the bypass is seismically safe! Circlepoint has been providing strategic communications services for this project since 2000 and is thrilled to see such great progress being made. Our team kept Bay Area visitors and residents —who were crucial in keeping the closure safe and on time— informed throughout the process.
