Over 25 years ago, Joe Gurrera purchased a wholesale Seafood company - Lockwood & Winant, to eliminate the middleman & offer the freshest Seafood available at the fairest price. In 2007, we opened Meat without Feet a seafood supplier to leading restaurants.

Established in New York City in 1912, Citarella continues to be a family run business. Led by the driving passion and vision of our owner Joe Gurrera, we have grown from a respected seafood shop into one of the top food destinations in Manhattan and the Hamptons.
