Dr. Don Layus was born and raised in Southern California. He completed his undergraduate degree at San Diego State University in 1977. He pursued his dental degree at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry graduating in 1981. He has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years, and has been with Citracado for over 7 years. He really enjoys the cosmetic aspects of dentistry and transforming smiles.

Jungman, DDS and Julie E. Kangas, DDS are a husband-and- wife team and graduates of the University of Southern California . Dr. Jungman , a native San Diegan, and Dr. Kangas selected Escondido for its warm, hometown atmosphere.

For more than 30 years, Escondido residents have relied on Dr. Jungman and Dr. Kangas for compassionate care and clinical expertise. Dr. Kangas takes great pride in her profession and has specialized in cosmetic dentistry and dental care for anxious and fearful patients for over 25 years. She is the former president of San Diego Women Dentists. She serves as the president of the Escondido chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA). In 2008, she was selected Business Woman of the Year by the ABWA national headquarters.
