CEC has a team of Registered Professional Land Surveyors directing survey crews complete with modern field equipment in Texas. These crews are routinely dispatched across the State of Texas providing Surveying services which include topography, boundary, Oil and Gas related surveys, ALTA/ACSM, Right of Way and easement surveys, as-built surveys and construction staking.

CEC is seeking a candidate who has the ability to multi-task, use resources efficiently and effectively, take initiative, be highly motivated, work with a team, handle conflict resolution, demonstrate a good work ethic and be dedicated to providing excellent client service.

After working for another San Antonio civil engineering firm for more than two decades, Smith, together with his wife Shelley, founded Acuity 3D Imaging, LLC, a LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) business, through which they offered ground-based static LIDAR services to the oil and gas industry. In the past three years, CEC has moved aggressively into the Oil and Gas surveying market, primarily providing traditional surveying services related to staking wells and pipelines.

Occasionally, there are conditions that cause the designs of well-meaning engineers to become the source of a problem or an injury. Eight of the ten principal engineers and surveyors at CEC have been practicing engineering and/or surveying for more than 30 years. This depth of experience provides clients with a vast knowledge of the issues that may be encountered during the construction of both public and private projects.
