Chicagoland Jewish High School (CJHS) was launched in 2001 by a visionary group of leaders who set out to create an exemplary college preparatory high school in a vibrant Jewish setting where students would not have to choose between the best of our American heritage and the richness of Jewish tradition. They envisioned a high school that would attract the finest faculty, serve a diverse student body, and provide an education that would rival the best public and private high schools in the country. With spiritual and philanthropic support form the Chicago Jewish community, the Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education, and other renowned institutions, their vision become a reality. On Sunday, August 26, 2001, an inspirational dedication ceremony was held at the site of the new school: 7800 W. Lyons Road in Morton Grove, Illinois. During the ceremony, Rabbi William H.
