At Creative Kitchens & Baths, we've dedicated our business to helping you, the consumer, understand new construction and remodeling design and products. Our installers are highly skilled and conscientious. They have an average of over 15 years of experience and training. We will listen carefully to your needs and concerns to ensure your project is completed with your utmost satisfaction. Creative Kitchens & Baths is a family owned and operated business founded in 1976 by Mark Thoennes. In 1978 Mark's father, Paul Thoennes became his partner and was responsible for helping develop the business with his abilities as an artist and draftsman. Unfortunately he died of cancer nine years later. Then in 1986 Mark's mother, Velma Thoennes joined the business and worked diligently until her death in 2003. Mark's sister Suzanne Kaufman has been a intregal part of the success of the business since 1980 with her intuitive design and drafting skills. Mark hired his only son Ryan Thoennes in 1997. Ryan worked throughout high school and college and then became Mark's partner in 2003 after graduating with a degree in Construction Management from Illinois State University. Today, Mark and Ryan's small team of design experts strive to carry on the original mission of excellence in customer service and pride in customer satisfaction.
