Clark Energy Cooperative is a not-for-profit electric utility headquartered in Winchester, Kentucky. We provide electric service to more than 25,000 customers in 11 east central Kentucky counties. As a cooperative, we differ from investor-owned utilities in that we are owned by the members we serve and not by stockholders in another area. Clark Energy is governed by a board of nine directors that are elected from each district of the membership and are responsible for establishing our policies and procedures.

Clark Energy uses contractors to clear rights-of-way. We conduct routine scheduled cutting to keep all trees free and clear of our lines. This is done to provide a better quality of service to our customers. In the event you have a tree in close proximity to a power line, you may call our Operations Department at 1-800-992-3269 to report it and we will dispatch a crew to take care of it. Yard trees that are directly under our primary lines will be replaced with low-growing trees through our replacement program.

Clark Energy and its energy services partner, Envision, are continually working with industrial and commercial members to provide value-added services.
