V&S Schuler is the combination of three companies, offering products and services to the electrical utility market as well as contractors, rural electrical cooperatives, and the manufacturing industries. V&S Schuler has become a single source for our electrical utility customers. We continue to service other industries as well; including conveyors for the mining industry, steel imbeds for the pre-cast concrete industry, building steel and bridges for manufacturing and the Department of Transportation. If your project calls for structural or tubular steel, chances are we can fabricate it! V&S Schuler also takes on the special made-to-order projects that other fabricators would turn down. V&S Schuler Engineering, Incorporated began operations in 1939 as a structural steel supplier. We moved to our current location in Canton, Ohio in 1988. The management team at V&S Schuler saw an increasing demand for quality-tapered poles. To meet this new market head-on, we started V&S Schuler Tubular Products, LLC in Muskogee, Oklahoma in 1995. With this new operation we have been able to supply complete transmission and distribution lines to our customers. Another review of the industry showed us a movement towards the use of substation packagers. In 2006 V&S Schuler purchased the well-respected Clark Substation Company. V&S Clark Substations, LLC allows V&S Schuler to provide a complete substation package; from substation steel to electrical components and continuing to transmission and distribution.
