In our role as an owner’s representative, we are the team leaders in the development process of a real estate property. Claro may enter into joint venture partnerships with a development partner, or act as an internal development division. In either case, we are responsible for all aspects of the development process. We provide financing, development leadership, and project management from start to finish. Claro Development was founded in 2002 by Sandor Scher and Ray Lastra with a vision of providing single source, comprehensive real estate property development solutions.
Claro Development manages projects by overseeing design, approvals, and construction. Many of our clients have experience in the ownership and operation of real estate property, but lack the resources to fully develop the project. So, they provide Claro with the financial, operational, and/or property management aspects of the project and ask us to focus on the actual development. It’s up to us to procure and manage the project team – architects, consultants, and contractors – and ensure that the project’s development and construction phases are completed to the client’s satisfaction.
