He has 14 years of experience in biotechnology research and teaching, having held appointments at the University of California-Davis, the University of Illinois, and the University of Arizona, and has published scientific papers in the fields of virology, molecular genetics, enzymology, microbiology, and molecular evolution.

Weili Cheng is Of Counsel with the firm. She holds Bachelor of Science (Biological Sciences) and Master of Science (Virology) degrees from Wuhan University, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Molecular Biology) degree and J.D. from the University of Utah.
