Description

Gary has been a resident and Independent Insurance Agent in Newton for over 30 years. Dale and Gary joined forces to create Clemon-Maki Ins. since 1991. He is an Army veteran of Viet Nam and graduate of the University of Iowa's College of Business. Gary's insurance career began with Travelers Ins. Co. as an underwriter earning him a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation. Gary continues to serve his community in the following manner: Past President of the Newton Noon Kiwanis and Jasper Co.

As a resident of Newton for over 35 years and a 1970 Graduate of Newton Senior High School, Dale has been an active member of his community. Dale is currently a member of the Rotary Club, Elk Lodge, Izaak Walton League, and the Newton YMCA Community Center. He has also held the position as past President of the Optimist Club and Jasper County Ducks Unlimited. Dale also served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army for 4 years.
