CTTG was established in early 2004, and while the firm is new, our attorneys have over 60 years of combined experience in the health care field. All of our attorneys chose law as their second career and bring to our firm years of practical experience in the basic sciences, technology transfer, clinical research, and the development and marketing of dietary supplements. Our experience includes work in start up biotech companies, major medical research centers, the National Cancer Institute, and the dietary supplement industry.

Jeremy Cubert joined CTTG in 2012 with a focus on intellectual property law in the life sciences. He has over 17 years of experience in patent law and assists companies in all aspects of obtaining and managing their intellectual property portfolios. Jeremy has extensive experience in due diligence and analysis of intellectual property portfolios and counsels clients regarding the acquisition and licensing of intellectual property assets. He also drafts and prosecutes patents in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and mechanical arts.

CTTG’s attorneys have extensive experience in technology transfer. As technology transfer professionals at the National Institutes of Health, they assisted government scientists and researchers to establish partnerships with industry for the development of a wide range of technology.

For the past 20 years Kate has practiced exclusively in the area of food and drug law with an emphasis on the regulation of clinical research. In private practice she has assisted a variety of companies and institutions in complying with federal and state laws and regulations governing the conduct of clinical trials. Kate has extensive experience in the negotiation of clinical trial agreements and the regulatory review of clinical research practices. Prior to entering private practice, Kate worked for nine years at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) within the National Institutes of Health.

IRB Policies and Procedures: CTTG attorneys have assisted IRBs develop and implement new policies and procedures. We keep apprised of human research protection issues on the federal and state level that affect IRBs and sponsors working with both local and Central IRBs. We welcome the opportunity to provide pro bono services to hospital based IRBs needing assistance on specific projects.
