Cocobelle believes that beauty is natural. That elegance is simple. And that style is how the beholder feels. Our designs originate from organic materials, lie comfortably against the skin and effortlessly capture the trend while remaining timeless in their nature. Founder Ignacio Fernandez-Bussy was a surfer in search of beauty. While sailing around the world, he began to transform his experiences into designing jewelry, combining unique elements selected from around the world. Designer Lucy Peglar combines the preppy coastal look from her youth growing up in Connecticut with tropical touches from island living. Through her extensive travels, the dress of distant cultures continually inspires her designs. Director Laura Golden also has traveled widely. She draws from her varied work experiences as translator, editor, project manager, sailor and yoga teacher to direct the business operations of Cocobelle. Cocobelle is grounded in the principle of helping support peoples of the developing world and employs local workers interested in providing a healthier lifestyle for their families. The collections are sold in high-end boutiques and top resorts throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, New Zealand and Japan.
