Description

What's Code Stylist? A graphical utility which connects to a database and reads the table and field names. It uses the information to generate a working, open source php database application. Will I love it? Yeah, probably. You can make feeds and forms for data in your database. The program builds good-looking interactive Web sites made from easy-to-modify scaffolding PHP MVC Web site code. The utility uses an open source framework with REST -style Web services, this enables re-use of server-side code for multiple clients. Security is powered by a Model Security plugin, which verifies permission for each and every data access attempt. Content-Negotiation supports delivering multiple representations. An old Netscape browser can prefer HTML, Firefox can have Ajax RIA, and mobiles will get WML. For high-traffic sites, a cache such as apc or phpaccelerator can be added to improve performance.
