Description
Although he currently resides in Franklin, Tennessee, Pete is originally from Brockton, Massachusetts and started collecting coins around the age of 10. His passion for coins stayed with him into adulthood, and he officially became a licensed coin dealer in 2002. Very shortly thereafter, he came up with the idea for CoinBidders.com and starting designing a system that he thought would be a great asset to both collectors and dealers. Having a background in computer programming for many years (Pete was a computer programmer in the U.S. Air Force from 1980-1984) made the programming task a little easier that it would normally have been, and roughly one year from the day Pete had the original idea for CoinBidders.com, it was unveiled to the public at the Chattanooga, Tennessee coin show on October 31, 2003. Pete is unmarried (but looking!), and has a very high maintenance but sweet as can be female Shih Tzu named Muffin who usually accompanies Pete to the larger coin shows (she won't have it any other way!).
