Welcome to CoinLibrary.com, an online resource for information about numismatics, the study of coins, tokens, medals, and paper money. The history of nations is captured in coinage, and the study of coinage can reveal much about a nation and its people. We provide some basic information for students and researchers interested in learning more about the subject. Numismatics in the News is a long-term project to collect, publish, and annotate interesting and useful articles from contemporary newspapers relating to numismatics of the United States, from colonial times to the present. Numismatic Nuggets is a collection of short essays and articles relating to coinage, often written in response to questions submitted by readers. The Bibliography describes useful literature on U.S. and world numismatics. Books, periodicals, auction catalogs, fixed price lists and ephemera are arranged by subject. The Online Books section holds the full text of selected passages from classic numismatic works. The contents of this site are derived largely from our own extensive numismatic library, built up gradually over several years. To maintain our library we're constantly purchasing numismatic literature and disposing of duplicates. If you're looking for coin books, check out the Book Sale.
