Description

Colback is manufactured by Colbond. The name Colbond is derived from COLogne, Germany, where the technology was developed, and the unique thermal polymeric BONDing technology itself. Colback was introduced in 1970, and Colback production began in the Netherlands. In 1988 Colback production began in the United States. EasyTuft was developed and introduced in 1998. Colbond is headquartered in the Netherlands and employs some 660 people worldwide. Production facilities on both sides of the Atlantic - in Europe and in the United States - allow Colbond to serve customers efficiently and economically. In the United States Colback is produced in Asheville, NC. Colback premium carpet backing was introduced in 1970.
