Alan E. Weiss, President, holds an MS degree in Hydrogeology and a BS degree in Geology, both from the University of Massachusetts, and is a licensed site professional (LSP #6442) and Registered Massachusetts Sanitarian (License #933). An experienced and concerned environmental scientist since 1981, he co-founded Cold Spring Environmental Consultants in 1989. Alan has gained considerable regulatory expertise through hydrologic research projects with the U.S. Geological Survey and technical assessments of landfills, leaking underground storage tanks, and hazardous waste sites for an environmental state agency as well. This prior regulatory experience made Alan extremely valuable in his most recent position as a Senior Project Manager for a Massachusetts-based consulting firm. The unique combination of regulatory and project management experience enables Alan to provide clients with economically feasible and environmentally sound solutions to regulatory compliance.
