Description
We have extensive experience in building various types of metal forming equipment, including dart forming, swaging, expanding, tube forming and upset forming. Many of our forming applications have included a combination of the above processes within a single station. Our customers have relied on us to apply our knowledge of material flow to provide them with alternatives to hydro-forming.
We specialize in post hydro-formed processes, where we provide stand alone cells to cut, trim, notch, and pierce hydro-formed parts, as they are removed from the hydro-form die.
Our electrical controls group has experience with a large variety of PLC’s, Servos, Robots (various makes and models) and other auxiliary equipment. We have the ability to design and supply anything from a simple control system up to full turnkey integration of large automated lines. We design and program to your standards or preferences, and a complete documentation package is provided at the completion of a project. The many years of automation experience in our controls group is also available for on-site start up and support.
We have extensive experience in designing and building systems to process metal parts for value enhancement. An example would include secondary operations to welded assemblies or hydro-formed parts, by trimming, notching, piercing, lancing, coining, and/or blanking. Our unique approach to difficult applications has resulted in redefining how many companies process their bulky metal parts.
High volume fastener assembly often demands "one of a kind" unique tools or fastening machines. It is for these special applications that our customers have relied on us to provide creative and innovative solutions. Past orders have included semi or fully automated nut runnerheads for multiple fasteners grouped to torque a bolt pattern. Some applications must also follow a special tightening sequence, or torque settings that require documentation to a data file.
