Description
Welcome Collier High School offers a departmental academic program with a strong counseling component for those adolescents whose needs cannot be met within the public school. The school’s departmentalized academic program prepares students for admission into four-year colleges, community colleges, and technical/vocational schools, as well as full-time employment. Individual as well as group counseling encourages and supports social and emotional growth for all students. Clubs, sport teams, and activities round out the educational program giving students extracurricular opportunities similar to those offered in public schools. Collier High School is a program of Collier Services, a non-profit, non-sectarian organization which was founded in 1927 by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd.
