Our reporters are experienced in all aspects of court and deposition reporting, including medical, patent, and technical cases. We have 15 years experience providing realtime in depositions and were one of the first firms in the area to use and promote realtime in both the legal environment and for people with hearing loss. Since realtime has become our forte, in 2004 the company's name was changed to Collins Realtime Reporting to better reflect the current focus on technology and the diversity of our business. The firm principals are knowledgeable of rules and laws applicable to Texas court reporters and are often called upon by their colleagues to answer rules and ethics questions and present continuing education seminars. Our reporters are active in several professional organizations, and we maintain a philosophy of giving back to our profession and the community. We support the Dallas Bar by providing pro bono court reporting services to the indigent and have received numerous Pro Bono Service Awards. Through the Dallas Court Reporters Association, we have supported the Dallas Bar's Habitat for Humanity projects by providing meals and workers. Additionally, we donate realtime services to the Dallas and Fort Worth Chapters of Self-Help for Hard of Hearing and community functions sponsored by Deaf Action Center in Dallas and Goodrich Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Fort Worth.
