Colonial Travel was established in 1985 when travel agencies were a valued part of the travel industry. Today travel and the booking of travel has become a much different transaction for both the customer and the travel agency. When Colonial Travel began to serve the public in 1985 the original owner and staff were dedicated to superior customer service. When Vicky Wood and her husband bought the agency in 1991 there was one thing that was important to the new owner; continue to provide superior customer service. Fortunately, the office manager and all of the agents stayed with the new owners. Today, 14 years later, the office manager and one of the staff is still with the agency.
