Convened in 2004 by a public-private partnership that includes The Colorado Trust, the Colorado Department of Education, representatives of existing associations of school-based and school-linked programs, as well as key policymakers, the Colorado Afterschool Network (the "Network") seeks to connect providers, policymakers and other stakeholders throughout Colorado into a force demonstrating that after school programs work and are a vital part of community life.
