Come by my room #143 at the Inn Suites in Tucson where you can see some of the new material from both the 2008 and 2009 collecting seasons. This new material includes large amethyst scepters from Little Giant Basin collected by Mark Mahlum in 2008, quartz epimorphs after barite from near Gladstone collected in 2009, new Cliffhanger pocket milky quartz singles and groups from 2009, quartz epimorphs after calcite from the Crystal Cave from 2009, and large and small blue barites from Stoneham from 2008. I'll have a selection of new books on mining, minerals, fossils, and geology as well. I am in the process of cutting and polishing ore specimens from dozens of mines in the San Juans. These will include classic famous mines like the Camp Bird and the Sunnyside, but also lesser known mines like the Atlas, Sydney, Alaska, and the Spotted Pup (Dives mine). I also have a large selection of micro mineral specimens from Colorado, and if you'll let me know your wants, I'll let you know what I have on hand. Minerals listed on the web site will include those from old classic localities in the state, and also rarer locality pieces. We will attempt to have a broad range of specimens for almost every budget. To simplify ordering, I've decided to ship everything for free in the U.S., over a $50 minumum purchase. Under $50, please send $5.00 for shipping. Customers outside of the U.S., please email which specimens you want and I'll package them and get back to you with shipping charges. If you are a Colorado resident, and do not have a resale number, you will need to include 2.9% sales tax. Customers outside of Colorado do not pay sales tax as of now.
