Description

Is the paint made at Colorado Paint just as good as the paint made by national brands? Despite our relatively small size, Colorado Paint Company boasts an impressive R&D and production staff. Our R&D department employs half a dozen individuals who, combined, have over 100 years' experience in product development, coatings formulation, technical service and quality control. Our production staff also has combined over 100 years' experience in making a wide variety of coatings and adhesives.

Who is SWARCO? Swarco is an international company founded in 1969 by Manfred Swarovski. Mr. Swarovski's family name is known throughout the world as makers of fine crystal and optics. Swarco is the world's second largest producer of glass beads, which are used frequently in traffic coatings to allow for better retroreflectivity at night. In addition to their beads business, Swarco owns over 70 companies worldwide, most of which are related to finding traffic solutions. In addition to glass beads, Swarco provides lights, signage, computer systems, coatings, and more.

Who is Colorado Paint? Colorado Paint Company is Colorado's largest manufacturer of paints and coatings. It develops and manufactures a wide variety of coatings, including waterborne and solventborne traffic paints, 100% solids traffic epoxies, polyureas, interior and exterior architectural coatings, primers, light industrial coatings, and adhesives. For more information, see the Our Story section of our website.

Our products are formulated and manufactured at our Denver, Colorado facility. Because we are a local company, we are able to formulate our products to endure Colorado's unique climate. If you've lived in Colorado for any appreciable time, you know that "If you don't like the weather in Colorado, just wait a few hours!" This old adage has a great deal of truth to it: extreme temperature shifts, changing weather patterns, and increased elevation can turn a warm sunny day in April into a blizzard that dumps 3 feet of snow in 24 hours, only to have melted off before the weekend.

Whether you are a homeowner in need of freshening up a room or an independent contractor bidding a 100,000 ft 2 warehouse, each paint job comes with its own set of unique challenges. Everything from the weather to the type of equipment needed for the job has to be considered in order to make a job successful. At Colorado Paint Company, our sales team has many years of experience in evaluating painting projects of all sizes.
