Colorado Springs Internal Medicine was founded in August of 1995. Three of the founding members, Drs. Kim, Kinsman, and Spangler, are still with the group. Our office opened at The Union Medical Campus where we remained for almost eight years. In 1999, Drs. Hatchell and Bianchi joined the group and in 2001 Dr. Reeves came on board. We often will be the first stop for one of our patients with a new medical problem. If the complexities of the problem or the skills needed to manage it are outside our training, then we will refer a patient to the appropriate specialist. We generally do not see people under 18 years of age, do not do surgery, and do not practice obstetrics. Our goal is to provide high-quality medical care for our patients, acting as their primary care physician. We try to be informative to our patients, try to practice cost-efficient medicine, and try to practice evidence-based medicine, which means relying on the best available medical studies and data to make decisions about diagnostic testing and treatment.
