Description

The LifeSteps program provides opportunities for you to develop mentoring relationships with pregnant women and men. You will help these women and men earn the items they need for their babies by walking them through the Earn While You Learn curriculum. This curriculum contains valuable information on topics such as pregnancy heath, prenatal development, newborn care, child discipline, safety, childhood development, and more. This is a great way to encourage and equip young mothers and dads. Requirements: an application, interview, Initial Volunteer Training (21 hours), in-house training (self-paced), and a commitment to volunteer four times a month, or by special arrangement. We ask that those interested in being a LifeSteps Coach have experience as a mother or father.
