Columbia Springs Environmental Education Center

Description

For the more than 7,500 students who will visit Columbia Springs this year, the hands-on experience will be their first chance to engage in learning with all their senses and to connect scientific concepts to real world experiences. Our unique school-based programs are designed to expand the learning experience in an interactive, exciting way that is only possible outside the classroom. Students learn important concepts in science, social studies, and language through critical thinking, problem solving, consensus building, and communications. We do not charge students or classes for their participation. To help keep our services possible for the more than 250 classes we serve, charitable contributions and volunteer efforts from individuals, corporations, foundations, and partners help make Columbia Springs possible. We could not provide this no cost service without your support! Your support is critical.
