Chery Lucero has made it her life's dream to care for the elderly and handicap at Columbine Chateau. The Chateau has become a place to call home since 2005. She is dedicated to providing all her residents with a home life environment, with unconditional love, support, along with physical and emotional strength.

Chery Lucero R.N., has made it her life's dream to care for the elderly and handicap at Columbine Chateau. The Chateau has become a place to call home since 2005. She is dedicated to providing all her residents with a home life environment, with unconditional love, support, along with physical and emotional strength. She found her passion in the nursing field at a young age. Growing up in Fort Lyons, Colorado she was raised around Veterans, her veterans looked to her not just as a nurse but as their advocates - the softer side of hospital, state etc. bureaucracy. From there she opened up her own Boarding Houses, but when she noticed that her men started to need 24hr care and them not wanting to leave, she then changed over to opening an assisted living.
